What we store
Your project data - contract sums, schedule of values, change orders, retainage %, submitted periods. One JSON file per project, no database, no accounts.
Your project's link is the only access control. There's no login - whoever has the URL can view and edit that project. Don't share it anywhere you wouldn't share the underlying numbers.
Feedback you submit - the message text and which page you were on, if you use the feedback form.
Basic usage events - timestamps for creating a project, submitting a period, and downloading a PDF, tied to the project's ID (not to you). No cookies for tracking, no analytics service, no ad pixels.
Standard web server logs - IP address and requested page, like any web server keeps, rotated automatically.
Email
If you use "email me the link," we send one email to the address you type, containing your project's link, through our own mail server. We don't store that email address anywhere - it's used once, for that send, and not added to any list.
Cookies
One cookie, used to remember which project(s) you've opened in this browser so "My Projects" works. It holds project IDs, nothing else, and isn't used for advertising or tracking across sites.
Terms
This is a free tool, still in development. The math should be correct, but don't rely on it for anything legally binding without double-checking.
No warranty, no uptime guarantee - this runs on a single small server. Back up anything you can't afford to lose (save the PDF, keep your project link somewhere safe).
We can change or shut down the tool at any time. If that ever happens with meaningful notice needed, we'll post it here.
